My Ultimate To-Do list (subject to revision)

Since everyone is out having a good time (with their damn student allowances. Damn you! Okay I will no longer mention it since everyone who does have student allowance must be getting sick of me whining) and I have no one to talk to online, I shall write a blog. As you do.



I also got inspired by this magazine article about how lists can tell you a lot about people. Well durhhh. (The magazine was called Psychologies and the reason I have this is because the dairy people give us free magazines. However its kind of lame. All the people who write it are Captain Obvious and with that many captains around it gets a bit crowded)

Anyway! We shall persevere and plough on with my list! (which are in no particular order because my brain doesn't work in order)

1. Eat fancy exotic cuisine. One day I will eat truffles, saffron, foie gras, caviar, duck confit, escargots, caviar, oysters plus whatever takes my fancy. I fear for my future income though.

2. Go to Europe! Yeah! I want to take languid relaxing walks on cobblestone streets and eat real pasta and be surrounded by beautiful sounding people. Why couldn't my family have migrated to France or something? T_T New Zealand does not have the same allure. (Fush and chups?)

3. And while I'm in Europe, I'd like to go on a cheesy romantic dinner overlooking the Eiffel Tower with candles, nice food, flowers. The whole shebang. Yes. I did just say shebang.

4. Learn to dance. Not slutty club dancing. Seeing those people (if just in movies) makes me cringe. I want to tango or salsa or something pretty.

5. Go rock climbing. On actual rocks. Not those plastic things we climbed in year 12.

6. Wear a bikini (LOLOLOLZ cover your eyes xDDD)

7. Have a tea party with pretty teacups.

8. Finish uni (yikes! this really should have been somewhere at the top of my list)

9. Take a submarine ride.

10. Make balloon animals.

11. Knit something wearable apart from scarves.

12. Learn to paint nice pictures.

13. Umm. What else? wow I can't believe its so short xD
Oh! I know. Make a funny Youtube video.


Annnnd I can't think of anything else. This may be updated. It may not. I like to keep you guessing.

The waltz of the zombies :]

I had a piano lesson today, as I do every Saturday. Its always pretty uneventful. I enjoy them anyway for some reason, even if I do have to make small talk about my day, composers and what not.

Today my piano teacher felt like doing a duet. Yay duets! I like them =D
Shelley! We should do a duet! I've got a crapload lying around. I don't know what we'd do once we learn it though...

Anyway, my piano teacher (we shall now refer to her as Mary because that is her name and it is much easier to type than 'my piano teacher'). So Mary found a piece called Les Sylphes by G. Bachmann.

She likes to give me a history and some background to all the pieces I get.

Mary: So do you know what Sylphes means?
Me: ......no?

Personally I thought it had something to do with syphilis. Why anyone would want to write about that was beyond me because syphilis is kind of icky.

Mary: Its about these girls who die and come back to life

Oh darn. I was so wrong. Hey. Hey wait. Did she just say girls who DIE and COME BACK TO LIFE? That sounds a lot like -

Me: Zombies? This is a piece about zombies! That's so cool!
Mary: ...no they're not evil or anything. blah blah blah they're very beautiful blah blah blah....


Oh. well thats a bummer. ):

At least it sounds pretty.

Today has been a shit day

Just. Absolute crap.

Its not anything has happened today. I've just stayed home and done nothing.

But for some reason I want to dig a hole and lie there and cry.
